Delivered as part of FUTURE YARD activity, Direct Input is an online series of conversations that aim to shed light on the successes of artists and bands we love. The sessions are free to attend and take place on Zoom. They’re usually every two weeks on Mondays at 6pm. We’re doing an extra Q+A as part of FOCUS Wales’ Out of FOCUS Sessions on Monday and then we’ve got the next one announced in its usual slot the week after. Rather bizarrely, we have two very golden Rebeccas coming up!!! Details and sign ups below.

On Monday (21st) at 6pm, as part of Out of FOCUS Sessions, I’m mega excited to be speaking to the rather wonderful Becky Hawley from Stealing Sheep. We’re going to delve in to the journey of the band, finding out how they built themselves up, signed their record deal and grew creatively and professionally. They’ve done a number of really interesting commissions which will be really great to find out about, too.

Then the following Monday (28th) at 6pm, we’re going to be talking to the amazing Rebecca Lucy Taylor all about her creative powerhouse of a solo project SELF ESTEEM. She launched this project on social media well ahead of sharing any music with such a strong visual identity and was able to carry this through to fruition with a fantastic team of fellow creatives. I want to find how she was able to transfer this vision to the album campaign with so much success. We’re grabbing her straight off the back of recording album 2, which is very exciting.
